Put out 10 of these traps last weekend. Caught 3 coons. I like the push/pull trigger.

Caught the chicken killing, egg eating raccoon in 2 days.Used plain old fried chicken skin and a few drumstick bones scattered near the trap.

Great product, be sure to also order coon bait and the tool to set the trap. Difficult to set without the tool, make life ez,couple of $, well worth it.
BTW, their shipping is excellent, recieved order in 3 days

My order was because I needed more of these. The best for an urban environment where lots of dogs and cats. Use mini-marshmallows cause dogs and cats will not tamper with but coons and possums haves sweet tooth

Buy the trap setter! The springs are super tuff but the setter makes it a breeze! I like the push/ pull trigger the other dp traps don't do that and it leads to misses.

Making coon sets is quick and easy with the "trap setter", They have 3 swivels (both ends and middle) and are deep to keep coons from chewing feet and/or wringing-off. I recently bought 20 Z traps from Fleming traps, they all showed up on time and worked good out of the box. They are in my opinion the only DP trap to buy. I have tried duke, Bridger, freedom brand FB1(which sucked), and some no name DPs as well. The push or pull trigger design is great and leads to more catches. Great Product!!!!

Very simple and very effective for removing some pesky raccoons from my property. I put dry cat food up to the bottom side of the trigger and works great. I have not had to worry about dogs or cats getting caught in these traps. Dog proof does not mean skunk and possum proof, though, but they were getting into the chicken coop and needed removed anyways. Get the setting tool or make one, because the spring is pretty strong and will wear out your hands if setting more than a couple at a time. I have already ordered more as well as friends and family.

I have put small marsh mellows in the trap and they disappear and the trap never gets tripped. I can't imagine what or who is so smart that they avoid the trigger mechanism. I set the trigger so it trips when pushed.
