Was not catching my target animal even though I knew it had been at my traps. Tested the pan tension with the Sullivans tool and adjusted accordingly and that night I got the fox I was after.

Canā€™t run a trap line without knowing what your traps are firing at. This tool is essential!! Highly recommend

Great tool for testing traps. Simple and effective

I set my line without checking pan tension......that was dumb, once I got this and checked I found that the yotes could've been doing jumping jacks and pushups on my trap and it wouldn't have fired. With this I was able to easily get the pan tension right

A must need for setting pan tension

My only complaint was why does this not have a rubber boot on the end to prevent pans getting scratched up? Bought some on Amazon that fit perfect and stopped this issue.

A must to setup traps

This is the easiest way to check your pan tension. It is easy to use and helps with everything about setting your pan tensions for the season. Also it is very sturdy and can take a beating even from heavier traps.

I am new to trapping and the Sullivan Trap Pan Tester is easy to use and has been extremely important in my preparation of coil spring traps. Works as advertised and is a great tool to have.

This is a classic and a must have. I couldn't catch predators without it. Remember you want your traps to have 3 LBS of pressure.
