Quality and Sharp

Have not been in the woods to use these yet, but so far, they are heavy enough. Seems like a good quality.

I FIND THIS TO BE A VERY HANDY ADDITION TO MY TRAPPING GEAR, THE KNIFE AND HATCHET ARE GREAT FOR CLEARING SMALL TREE BRANCHES AND WEEDS AROUND A SET AND CHOPPING AWAY BRAMBLES. EACH HOLDS IT'S EDGE DURING HEAVY USE. SCHRADE KNIFES HAVE BE A FAVORITE OF MINE FOR A LONG TIME.

hatchet is just the right size for those small chopping tasks and the machete works well. I bought a set for my son and son in law. You will not be disappointed.

I really like the machete and hatchet. The dry packets inside the machete sheath were hard to get out however. I called Fleming and they advised me. I did not know the thing was in the sheath, and I stuck the machete into the sheath, which complicated things.
The machete is very balanced and easier to handle than my bigger French Jungle Knife.
