I was skeptical buying this tool and worried that it would not work well at first. However, after getting and using it I love it. It works very well and I should have bought one a long time ago. It's small but it works very well for opening and closing S-Hooks.

Lightweight and does the job. Perfect for running the trap line or for something else to do while the TV is on. Feels much more sturdy than I anticipated

Well you kinda get what you pay for, quality matches the price, spend the extra money on better quality, I ended up buying better quality ones with no complaints.

Easily add chain or swivels with this tool. Definitely a time saver and easily fits in trap bag.

Works great for S hooks...a must have in my trap basket.

Could be a little tougher made but for the money you can't beat it. Works perfectly

These arenā€™t cheaply made! Despite some complaints made by others Iā€™ve never had an issue but I followed the provided instructions.

Didn't close j hooks enough. The tips bent after just a few uses handles twist apart like bad scissors .. Im not a long liner or anything like that but still couldnt handle basic use if i had a choice between buying these again or using a hammer and screwdriver for j hooks im taking the hammer and screwdriver. Spend the few extra dollars and get the heavy duty j hook tool!!
