If you are looking for the perfect coyote trap that is designed specifically for coyotes then the MB-650 is the trap you need. Just dye and wax these traps and they're ready to go! Virtually anything that you could possibly want done to a trap to make it coyote proof is wrapped up here in one neat package. The MB-650 is heavy duty from top to bottom and comes with 1/4" offset jaws and a 6 1/8" inside jaw spread.
The MB-650 is 4-coiled, base plated, center swiveled and has an extra heavy duty oversized pan which provides for a huge kill area. The pan tension is adjustable with a #10 brass pan bolt. Both heavy jaws are held down by the trigger system which will keep any animal from flipping up a loose jaw. The dog has a "step-down" notch milled into it that gives you an audible click when you're lowering the pan. We've of course installed our MB Crunch Proof Swivels and heavy duty chain to top it off. * The MB-650, designed by trappers for trappers with animal comfort in the forefront.

MB-650 Trap

Traps came shipped very clean, Used White Vinegar and Dove dishwashing soap to quickly clean , then sprayed with Vinegar to produce a light even coat of rust. Dying and waxing - very easy , have caught Coyotes and Raccoons the first time I used them. When bedding, would be nice to have anchor chain on side of trap instead of underneath. Would be easier to bed. These are very heavy duty and have strong springs. Would like a cleaner offset notch to set the Pan. It is difficult to file due to the design.
All the pans had to be adjusted to get a consistent 2.5 to 3 Lb trigger set. Other than that, these traps are great, I started using cheaper traps but don't use them anymore. These traps are worth the money.

BEST TRAP I HAVE EVER USED, READY RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX VERY LITTLE ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED. CATCHES AND HOLDS, RELEASES DEER , SO ALL IS GOOD
STEP IS SET
ONLY SLIGHT ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED, ONLY ISSUE IS SCREW HOLDING RELEASE TAB CAME OUT OF ONE TRAP , SO COULD NOT HOLD DOWN BAR HOLDING ONE SIDE.

I used two MB 650 traps last season. These are well made traps. The trap setting tool makes these traps very easy to set. I bought 12 more for this season.
You can buy a tool to use for setting jaws making these traps a breeze to set

I have some MB 550's and wanted to take a look at the 650. Wow I thought the 550 was a tank, I am very inpressed with the construction and the overall performance the 650. I will be ordering 3 dozen for next season very soon. Thanks MB and Fleming this will be an awesome addition to my trapping arsenal.

Awesome trap. Experienced hunter but new to trapping. After meticulous scent control, boiling, dying, and waxing caught my 1st yote within the first week

Very good product but if i had to do it over again i would have paid the extra money for the inside/outside laminated or the cast iron jaws.
