Fleming #220 Body Grip trap is designed for use in a wide variety of predator control, fur trapping and wildlife management. Trap works well on the ground, suspended, submerged in water, under ice or when covered with light snow. When used properly they result in a quick, humane kill. Should not be used where they might trap non-target animals. Target Animals: raccoon, groundhog and fisher sized animals. Jaw Spread. 7”

Good Trap

Worked perfectly for eliminating the groundhogs from under my deck. Just place it where they are active; didn't even have to use bait. Critter removal was easier than I expected also.
Easy to use after watching video tutorial.
Seems to rust pretty easily, but note that I didn't do the recommended trap treatments.

Set it up. Caught an armadillo first night. Works great.
This caught a small armadillo in just the right place for easy removal. I do have bigger traps for larger armadillos.
Not sure the size of armadillo this will trap. Will need to see if it works on a large one.

I would recommend these traps to anyone. They do the job quick and easy and are human. I would also buy the tool to set them unless you are really strong.

Two of these traps were used to remove ground hogs that were damaging a structure.

Worked In a Day!

We'd been trying to trap a groundhog in a live trap for about three years but he was too smart to walk into it. We finally decided we had to use drastic measures and ordered the Fleming trap. The day it came, we set it up just outside his burrow. The very next morning -- success! Just wish we'd gotten it sooner.
It works! And it's unobtrusive looking enough so that the animal doesn't notice it and avoid it.
Looks like the animal pulled the trap out of the ground when it was caught because we found it a few feet away from the burrow. We probably didn't secure it properly.
