Fleming snares are recommended for small game and furbearers such as large coon, wildcat, fox, lynx, coyote, etc. They are made of 60" of 1x19 alternate lay I.P.S. 1/16" cable. These snares feature the Sure Lock self-locking mechanical neck lock and end swivel. 12 Pack

Snaring is an easy and inexpensive way to trap. Snares are light weight, require less equipment and, in many situations, can be set in locations where other traps can not. Many snare sets can be made faster than other trap sets saving you time.

Place your snares in trails, log crossings, front of cubbies, any place you would set a body gripper trap, and culverts under roads.

Make sure to stake or tie down your snare well as animals that are snared have all four legs for traction and pulling. Swiveled Snares have swivels that fit easily on either 3/8" of 1/2" rebar stakes.

The entire lock and snare loop can be slipped through the swivel to function as a tree lock or and adjustable snare tie off. Deer stops are in the snare loop so you can crimp at the size you prefer to prevent catching a deer by the leg.

Great high quality product
October 3, 2021
I run a couple nuisance animal trap lines this time of year for beaver to help farmers protect their corn fields along rivers. Ran out of snares and for 1st time went through Fleming. Best ever. Very high quality snares. Beaver are caught around the neck instead of belly or hind quarter because of ease of lock on cable. Fewer misses.

1/16 snares in a 12 pack
September 20, 2018
These snares have proved to be a quiet, cost and time effective solution to pest problems (skunks) on my acreage in a residential neighborhood. I enjoyed the few hours I spent observing their routines and time schedule and efficiently removed 12 of the little stinkers in a week. If your so inclined a lead sinker clenched at the appropriate spot on the wire turns them into live traps. Snares are now part of my camping gear and I see a few rabbit diners in my future.
The right wire size, quality swivel and clasp for about the cost of the material combined with efficient service and delivery from a dedicated company. I am replacing my spring traps with snares out of concern of accidentally injuring dogs and cats that roam the neighborhood. Snare placement is the key to catching what your after. Worked well. Got several 50+ pound beavers by putting snares on slides.
