Coil Spring Traps are manufactured of steel components and powered by a set of compact coil springs. Duke #3 Leg Trap is designed to trap coyote, lynx and bobcat sized animals.
The Off Set Jaw is designed to reduce the injuries to the animals foot or leg. Off Set Jaw traps work well where there might be pets roaming around. This way if a non target animal is caught they can be release with little or no foot or pad damage. These jaws also allow for a continued circulation of blood flow to the foot so the animal doesn't feel numb and continued pulling at trap. Jaw Spread 6”

Great trap. Have used these before. I had called customer service multiple times, 2 then 4 business days after ordering multiple products. 6 business days later product and traps still havent left AL. I confirmed everything was in stock prior to ordering. Use another company!

Setting Duke #3 coil spring around perimeter of broiler pens. Any animal interested enough in my birds to approach the chicken tractor is thereby requested to wait in place until morning, when we will come to an understanding. (The local varmints have confused me with Colonel Sanders).
I no longer consider myself a farmer victimized by predators. Nope! I am a trapper, hunter using live bait. Tallys are confidential under the SSS protocols currently in place.
Good solid traps, no harm to accidental catches subsequently released.
Gentle, reliable, not real expensive.
A little slow, allowing a few slips and misses, well worth the trade off on tactical releases.
