Coil Spring Traps are manufactured of steel components and powered by a set of compact coil springs. Duke #3 Leg Trap is designed to trap coyote, lynx and bobcat sized animals. Jaw Spread 6”
The Rubber Padded Jaw or sometimes referred to as a Soft Catch is designed to reduce the injuries to the animals foot or pad. The Rubber Padded Jaw traps work well where there might be pets roaming around. This way if a non target animal is caught they can be release with little or no foot or pad damage. Some states require a Rubber Padded Jaw.

I had a coon in one the dang thang slipped his paw out easy. Deep paw catch and i have all the proof on my game camera. Dont waste your money on this trap
no pros
very weak spring power; jaws cheaply made and come out of place each time you set it off. I can stick my own hand in this and slip it out very easily. Definitely not for coyote if a coon can easily SLIP OUT!
