Duke #220 Body Grip trap is designed for use in a wide variety of predator control, fur trapping and wildlife management. Trap works well on the ground, suspended, submerged in water, under ice or when covered with light snow. When used properly they result in a quick, humane kill. I set mine up with a square bucket setup. Works very well so far. These things are scary strong. I'm very cautious in fear of catching a random stray dog with it. Will definitely do the job for problem animals such as racoons, opossum, feral cats, or raccoons.
Very strong.
Fairly inexpensive.
Quick kills.
Buy the setting tool- very hard to set without the tool.
indescriminate- use a lot of caution if you have a curious wandering dog or cat on your property.

I had my doubts at first, but after all other burrows under a shed were covered with concrete blocks,
he made a panic run for cover after being caught with a mouth full of tomato.
I was also worried about the neighbors cat, but it all worked out beautifully..

For me it was impossible without the tool. The tool made it easy. Two kills in two days after weeks of trying without the trap. Two thumbs up!

I knew I needed a trap very different from what I was using to get rid of woodchucks which are making a mess around and under my house and sheds. When I received these traps, there were no instructions. I signed onto the website and watched the video on how they should work. You have to be very strong to set these even with the tool which I purchased with the traps. It took all my strength to get it in place and finally put it over a new hold I found. I still don't know if they will work, but I thought they were worth a try.

Wish I had known about this trap long ago. Have-a-Heart didn't work any more as they were on to it.

Works well, well built, long lasting, good product.
Some people call out the safty latches as being loose so can fall off before you have finished.
But I like them cause they are easy to set and then to take off. Just be aware and careful.

I bought these traps for faro cats and raccoons that were hora-sing my chickens. In the 5 nights that they were set I have caught 5 animals. these traps are no joke.
They kill quickly
They kill pets to so dont use them around pets.

Put them in home made box and set them by my sweet corn patch overnight. No longer have corn steeling racoons!

Was skeptical at first, chased groundhog from veg garden into his borrow. Was not sure if I would be able to place trap in the very tight space between privacy fence and shed, so set the trap and gently pushed it to the groundhog entrance hole with a long stick.
I leaned the trap against the wood of the shed and entrance hole as I couldn't secure it which goes against all advice ive seen on YouTube but that dint matter, IT WORKED!
TOOK 2 DAYS FOR HIM TO DECIDE TO COME OUT! BAAAAAM! Gone! :)

solved my groundhog problem quickly. Very pleased with the traps. Just make sure you have the tool to set them, because you will never get them set with just your hands. They are very strong,but that is what you need to kill the animal quickly. well worth the money.
