Coil Spring Traps are manufactured of steel components and powered by a set of compact coil springs. Duke #2 Coil Spring Leg Trap is designed to trap bobcat, coyote, fox, lynx and otter sized animals.
The Off Set Jaw is designed to reduce the injuries to the animals foot or leg. Off Set Jaw traps work well where there might be pets roaming around. This way if a non target animal is caught they can be release with little or no foot or pad damage. These jaws also allow for a continued circulation of blood flow to the foot so the animal doesn't feel numb and continued pulling at trap. Jaw Spread 5.5”

Duke #2 was my first trap. Learned a lot by trial and error. It can be a really good trap with a lot of work. If you like to tinker and modify this the trap for you. Major weakness is the weak frame and crosspiece that are often bent by catching coyotes. Attached is a photo of the trap after all my improvements
Price. Good trap to train with. Can be modified and improved.

I was able to help one of the guys down at our hunting club this year do some trapping. I fell in love with trapping. We used these traps so i came to this site and ordered some. I will be ready for this years trapping season. The staff was very helpful in answering questions i had. Minor shipping mistake which was taken vare of with one phone call. I will definitely buy from this company again.
Two coils easier for me to set. They also have a tool to assist with setting.
