I tried this hammer out in very very hard packed dirt the tip held up very very well, while digging in the hard packed dirt!!

works great on soft dirt to make your holes. hard dirt is a little difficult was worried about the handle breaking. would recommend maybe a stronger made handle.

good looking just not strong enough

I dug 2 dirt hole sets, first one it worked great. Second was in a little harder dirt and also had to dig more dirt out, the tip of the blade bent and the weld attaching the blade cracked and was very aggravating to use after.

Defective handle

The handle was defective. First time I used it the handle broke in the middle. It would be a great tool if the handles didn't have any knots in it.
Very effective tool.
Not constructed very well.
