Body Grip traps are designed for use in a wide variety of predator control, fur trapping and wildlife management. Trap works well on the ground, suspended, submerged in water, under ice or when covered with light snow. When used properly they result in a quick, humane kill. Should not be used where they might trap non-target animals.

The #160, #220, #280, and #330 Bridger Bodygrippers also have "magnum" jaws and heat treated springs. In addition, these four traps have flat RK super safeties, stronger trigger wires, a tear drop ring attached to the spring and a swivel on each end of the chain. To finish the revamping process we increased the jaw spread size on the #160, #220, and #330. The new Bridger Magnum Bodygrippers are rugged, durable, and ready to go to work for you.

The #330 Bridger Magnum Double Spring Body Grip Trap has a 10 1/2" x 10" jaw spread, and is recommended by Bridger for use in taking beaver, fisher, otter, etc.

powerful springs

This trap can be set by hand but the setting tool is much easier. These traps worked great.
fast and good price to get get one of these stuck to your hand and you got a one haded problem. Get the trap setters to help you out.

Easy set up and great preforming trap.
great for marsh areas. didn't have the setting tool so I improvised by using a 16" trigger clamp for wood working. That worked great!

I purchased one as my first 330 for my first Beaver season. I chose Bridger because I wanted to be cool and manly like Jim Bridger the mountain man. A friend gave me a 330 of a different style and now with a little experience and a few beavers caught I can see differences I like and don't like. The Bridger magnum springs are no joke, they are very robust, my other model is plenty strong enough but the springs feel weak compared to the Bridger. The spring safety on the Bridger is a top feature for me. It's a flat bar steel that really snaps in place securely and isn't all floppy like the round rod safety catch on my other model. My first be negative is the Bridger has a fixture for a drowning rig on the end of the chain instead of a large ring. I like the ring better because a stick fits through it and after dying and waxing it's easy to store by hanging. The Bridger requires a piece of wire to secure it to a stick since I'm not setting it on a drowning wire rig.
Powerful springs. Very secure and trustworthy safety catches. Tight closure of jaws and springs springs stay where they should instead of sliding around on the jaws. Drowning piece instead of large ring on chain.
