The Bridger #1.75 Coil Spring Foot Trap has an inside jaw spread of 4 3/4" and an outside jaw spread of 5 1/8". Adjustable pan tension and ultra strong steel springs. Bridger recommends this trap for use in taking fox, coyote, bobcat and raccoon.

Very sturdy trap. Beefier than dukes. Very strong chain
Heavier duty than dukes for only a little bit more money
I wish these came with the dog less pan. I love the bridger #2 dogless traps

If you love the square jaw, but aren't looking for too heavy of a trap this is perfect. It works well and all parts of the trap are easily adjustable.

Excellent Trap!

I wanted a trap that would fit the range and allow me to trap raccoons up to coyote and bobcat and this trap fits the bill. I bought 14 of these traps during a sale with free shipping and am very impressed with them. Night latched from the factory and the pans set level with a hair trigger without adjustment. Strong springs and a sturdy chain and two heavy duty swivels base plated to the bottom center of the trap. These traps were ideal for my application. Well packaged for shipping too. I don't see much if anything I'll have to do to prepare them for the season. Excellent value and an excellent trap!

I was skeptical at first, but decided to order 1/2 dozen to try. When I opened the box, i was in shock. These traps have a sturdy riveted baseplate/d-ring and seem to be made very well. I believe these will hold up to a variety of species. Ordered another 1/2 dozen a week later, with many more to come before season.
