Bought three of these at Cabela's before I knew about Fleming Traps. Boiled, deodorized, and went & made a single dugout log set. (Like a dirthole, but you just scratch out some dirt from under a log to make it look like something tucked some food up under it). All I used for bait was two sprays of red fox-P from tink's since it's all I had.
One set, a single trap out in a single night, and caught a giant (for my part of Georgia) boar coon with a *perfect* center paw catch. Wasn't expecting to actually catch anything the first night, and I had car work to do, so I pinned him with my $2 catch pole and set him loose. I've made some coon boards since then, so the next one I'll be keeping.
I love that these come already center-swiveled with welded chain, instead of the Dukes which are corner-swiveled with twisted chain. It's just much easier on the animal's foot, makes it harder for them to get twisted up and stuck or break something. I'll be buying a dozen this year, maybe up a size for coyotes.
