This is a great first cut pelting knife. It is an awesome beginning knife to make your starting cuts on foxes, coons, etc.

this is an excellent knife to use for starting a cut then finishing with a bigger knife!! or you can skin a the whole animal with this knife if is just an all around great knife!!

Triangle Blade Skinning Knife

I have not had a chance to use it yet, but it seems like it would lend itself easy to use for the first cut around the back side and rectum of the animal you are skinning. Fits the hand well too. Looking forward to using it on my first coyote I trap.
