Great value

Everything worked great. Caught 2 big beaver first day and another the second day. Castor lure brought them in. Got one on foothold and other two on 330’s. I added this kit to my already existing traps and is a great addition

As a novice, I would not buy this kit - but I did have success with the foot traps I bought.

As a novice, I would not recommend this kit. The 330 Body traps are too difficult / dangerous to use for a newby, and the Duke foot trap is a lower quality trap. I set the 330 traps at home, and I quickly realized setting them in the field (standing/kneeling in mud and/or water) would be too difficult to do safely. The rest of the kit seemed fine, although I have not used the lures/bait yet.
In comparison, I purchased six #3 Bridger foot traps from Fleming, and they worked great. Within three days, I had trapped the entire nuisance beaver family on my father-in-law's farm. The much better quality Bridger foot traps successfully took the mother (35-40 lbs) and her two young (15-20 lbs each / 2 year olds?). I took them with the standard double sets on a small dam breaches. After taking the beavers and no repairs to the dams for days, I declared victory and torn the dams down.

Great looking traps

I bought this kit to help with a beaver problem, but I have yet to use them. The quality is good and they look like they will do the job. Nice set of gear put together.
Good quality lure comes with the kit and a skinning knife

My book is still on backorder. One suggestion would be to send some instructions, printed materials, etc. That way people that are beginners wouldn't have to google search things they were not clear about.
