Decent trap for the price

Nothing remarkable about this trap. Quite strong and well made. Spring ears are short, requiring a setting tool unless you're pretty beefy. The pan and lever arrangement puts the pan up pretty high, but this can be adjusted by grinding a little off of the end of the latching lever. Haven't put it to use yet, so we will see how it does with something in it.

This number #2 chain is nice for a replacement chain. I use it for replacement chain on my smaller twisted chain traps and I use it for trap chain extensions on my larger coyote traps that I will be using rebar stacks with.
Looks good and its super strong. Will last for years.

I bought this chain as part of a birthday present for my husband. He had a few traps with busted links in the chain, some traps that needed longer chains. He ended up catching his first bobcat with a lengthened chain, and he is a happy camper!
