Trappers use Galvanized Aircraft Cable for snaring, earth anchors, drowners and extensions. The High Grade cable is by far the most popular cable used for snaring. 7 x 7 means there are 7 strands in the middle and 7 surrounding it. 1/8" 7x7 Galvanized Aircraft Cable has a 1700 lb. minimum breaking strength rating and is available in a 100' roll, 500' spool and a 1000' spool.
